Bahrain's High Court of Appeals has set 26 October as the date on which it will issue its verdict in the case against political activist and prisoner of conscience Fadhel Abbas. He is serving a five-year prison sentence on the charge of “spreading false information that could damage military operations of Bahrain and its allies and calling for resistance”.
